All children are capable of growing, learning, and responding to love, no matter what their abilities, as long as they have caring adults who believe in them. Caring for children with Special Needs doesn’t have to be scary.
Knowledge is key.  Identifying the benefits and challenges of including infants and toddlers with special needs in child care settings; knowing our own attitudes and learning how to adapt toys and materials can help caregivers be more comfortable and knowledgeable about working with children with special needs.
